Born in Ankara to a family of musicians, Serenad Bagcan has led a life immersed in music since childhood. Despite her primary profession in Pharmacy, she pursued classical music education from an early age. Stepping into professionalism as an alto artist in the Polyphonic Choir of the Turkish Ministry of Culture, Serenad Bagcan gained acclaim for successful concerts both nationally and internationally. Her ability to internalize and interpret works has become a hallmark of her performances, and she maintains a diverse repertoire, believing in the importance of singing in various genres and styles.
Collaborating with Fazıl Say marked a turning point for Serenad, solidifying her unique style. Projects like "İlk Şarkılar", "Yeni Şarkılar”, "Nâzım Hikmet Oratorio”, “Hermiyas”, “Şu Dünyanın Sırrı” and “Dünya Anne”, along with performances in Turkey and abroad, further enriched her musical journey. Serenad Bagcan's dedication to preserving the legacy of intellectuals and artists, as evident in her debut solo album "SERENAD", which reflects her dedication to ensure their works resonate with today's audience and endure for generations to come.
