Lucy Grimble has been crafting songs for as long as she can remember and been leading worship for
over a decade across the world.
Having been immersed in music from a young age, she discovered songwriting in her teens and saw
her musical inspiration expand across soul, gospel, jazz and singer – songwriter. Her blended sound
creates an expression that is daring and attractive to the musical ear.
In 2023 Lucy and her husband Tom moved out of central London to a smallholding in Devon. ‘The
hustle is overrated’ is a narrative that transcends through her music as she calls us to the primary
goal of a life of ever deepening trust in Jesus. Her music is real and honest, sharing her personal
journey of faith predominantly through congregational worship songs but also through ‘listening’
songs, intended to help people reflect and consider.
Collaboration is at the heart of what she does, having co-written and recorded with artists across the
UK, US, Brazil, and Europe, including Matt Redman, Graham Kendrick, Sinach and Paul Baloche. Lucy
regularly leads at live events and recordings across the UK including Spring Harvest, David’s Tent, Big
Church Festival, Prom Praise in London’s Royal Albert Hall and BBC Songs of Praise. As an artist, Lucy
is passionate about musical excellence and creativity in worship and has, over the years, gathered a
talented team of musicians, singers, and producers around her to create songs that reflect her
multifaceted expression.
