Marco Carluccio: vocals/keyboards/composer/author and Johnny Pizzuto: keyboards/composer. Just as in 1968 Paris was conquered by the legendary Aphrodite’s Child, in 1980 the Nemesy, discovered in Athens by a founding member of Aphrodite’s Child (Vangelis Papathanassiou), were preparing to conquer Europe. After moving through Italy, they immediately found favor with the Bootlegs – CGD and EMI labels, which wanted them in their ranks. The duo collaborated with Paolo Bocchi, a prominent sound engineer who had worked with Vasco Rossi, Mina, and Celentano.
They were featured in a compilation “Masterone” with “Stevie Wonder.” “I Wanna Dance” is the first release born in 1984 with arrangements by Marcello Quartarone (Circus 2000), conceived according to the new standards of dance music, with many surprisingly avant-garde technical effects. Mixed in Paris, “I Wanna Dance” was a huge success all over Europe, thanks also to the eminent “godfathers”, old foxes of the seven-note world. Later, they recorded an album and various mixes “Arabian Sacrifice”, “Touch”, “You Can You Can”, “We Play The Music” and “24 Hours”
